“I am an organic synthetic chemist and I received this product for a test. The lab coats provided by our research institute leave the neck area exposed and have loose cuffs. Our laboratories kept fairly cold, and I would typically wear a sweater underneath the lab coat. This fire-resistant chemical-resistant sweatshirt is a great alternative to “normal” sweater. It is a tight fit, which allows me to keep the same size lab coat. Fitted cuffs provide extra protection when I clean my glassware and the neck area is also covered. Since I wear it under the lab coat the pocket is something I don’t use and will consider getting a sweatshirt without this functionality.
